The purchase agreement has terminated between Commonwealth Catholic Charities (CCC) and the owner of the former Community Bainbridge Baptist Church property.
"We simply could not accomplish the necessary steps to purchase the property within the time constraints of the existing agreement," says Jay Brown, CCC Division Director of Housing Services. "We will continue to search for an alternative location to house our services for people experiencing homelessness, including the emergency cold weather overflow shelter. The most vulnerable members of our community deserve our respect and care. As advocates, we will continue to work on their behalf to find a more suitable location."
