Homelessness in Greater Richmond Winter 2024 Point-in-Time Snapshot

On the night of January 24 and the morning of January 25, 2024, CCC's homeless services team participated in the Richmond and Greater Richmond areas' federally-mandated Point-in-Time count (PIT), coordinated by Homeward.


According the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), "the Point-in-Time (PIT) Count is a count of sheltered and unsheltered people experiencing homelessness on a single night in January."


The count provides a snapshot of changes and trends over time related to individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
