Rebekah & Kevin

Hello,

We’d like to start off by saying thank you for taking the time to learn more about us. We understand that considering adoption for your child is a huge decision and we admire your strength and courage. If you choose to place your child with us, we will always make sure they know their story and who you are. We will always make sure they know how grateful and blessed we are that you chose us to be their parents. If you would like, we are open to ongoing contact as your child grows up, and would love to talk with you about what you are comfortable with.

We have been married for 8 years, and have been together for 12. Early on in our relationship, we knew we wanted to adopt and have finally been able to start that process. We live in a very family friendly neighborhood near Richmond, VA near lots of shopping and activities.

Bekah is a sweet, kind, loving and nurturing woman who is currently a full time nanny for a sweet 1 year old little boy, and has an almost 10 year background working in the foster care field as a case manager. Bekah has helped many children return safely to their own home, and has helped many other find loving adoptive homes. Bekah has always loved working with and being around children. I high school Bekah coached baton twirling, worked at a bounce house party place and babysat. In college she babysat and worked at a daycare and then after graduating went into the social work field as a foster care case manager. Bekah is creative and enjoys crafts, decorating our home seasonally, baking, gardening, crocheting, painting, making diy home décor, and so much more. Bekah has been told numerous times, that she is going to be a “Pinterest Mom” one day.

Kevin is a kind, loving, kid-at-heart who is currently a customer service representative for a local hospital chain and gets to work from home. Kevin loves to play retro video games, and collect vintage toys, action figures and trading cards, especially Ninja Turtles. Kevin also enjoys watching anime and building Gundam model kits. Kevin is a huge foodie, and loves trying new restaurants and you can bet, that if there is something crazy on the menu, he’s probably going to order it.

We enjoy checking out local antique shops, trying new restaurants, spending time with family and friends and spending time with our pets. We have a 9 year old Shar-pei mix named Savannah, a 6 year old kitty named Claire, and a 1 year old Pittie/Curr mix named Maggie. Both of our dogs LOVE children and can not wait to have a human sibling. The dogs get so excited anytime our nieces/nephews or our friends kids come over to the house, and they get to love on them and give them all the kisses. Claire, like a typical cat, likes to watch from a distance, but I am sure with our own child, she will love to snuggle up with them like she does with us.

We usually take a trip to the Outer Banks each summer and can not wait to share our love of the beach with a child.

We are looking forward to adding a child to our family and raising them to be kind, respectful, loving, strong and hardworking. If you choose to place your child with us, we will do our best to make sure your child always knows how much they are loved and supported, no matter what.
