Interpreter Services Program
Our Interpreter Services Program provides interpreters to local health departments, departments of social services, schools, and other community providers not only for refugee clients, but for other non-English speaking clients as well. We use the Northern Virginia Area Health Education Center-tested and CCC-trained interpreters.
We also offer an intensive, interactive, forty-hour course designed for bilingual individuals seeking to enhance their interpreting skills. The course covers interpreting code of ethics, modes and techniques, cultural competence, memory development and professional conduct. Our services ensure quality, informed, and ethical care. Our interpreters are tested and trained to ensure they provide accurate, complete, professional, and confidential interpretation and translation.
If you are interested in being an interpreter for CCC, please fill out this form: Interpreter application. Send it, along with a resume and any certificates you may have received in the fields of interpretation and/or translation to Interpreter.Services@cccofva.org.
The fees for services are competitive for tested and trained interpreters. For more information, or to schedule an interpreter please contact us in your area or email us:
